Echo Vale arrived with sand in his paws and a notebook full of sounds nobody remembered making.

He listens for motion before meaning: rushing water, low machinery, brittle quiet, distant echoes, electrical buzz, footstep-like repetition.

Echo Vale has been listening to the Static Orchard and insists the trees are tuned to the wrong station.

Echo exists to test whether sound and motion cues add signal when the target is still only a hidden image.
